Alysen McCaughey

Alysen has spent her career as a pediatric nurse with certifications in both pediatrics and case management. She has served and cared for a wide variety of pediatric populations over the last 30 years, having served at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD both in the hospital and in home health. Upon moving to South Carolina Alysen focused her career on home health with local pediatric agencies, in the school system caring for students as a school nurse, and then as the clinical manager for a private company running the state’s medically complex children’s waiver for Medicaid.

Alysen has now retired from full time nursing and acts as the Chief Operating Officer for a technology company that she and David run together.

Alysen also believes strongly in political activism and has worked on several political campaigns locally. Additionally, she participates with her community and organizes events and outreaches for the Black Lives Collective - a local community action organization in her small town in South Carolina.

She and David have a passion for emerging artists and developing relationships with the artists they support.
